Chec’s Custom Solutions is a trade name of CHECS CUSTOM SOLUTIONS LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a home improvement contractor serving Beaver, Allegheny, and Westmoreland counties in Pennsylvania. We respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information you provide to us through our website, by phone, by text message, and in person.

Information We Collect

When you request an estimate or contact us, we may collect: your name, phone number, email address, and the details you share about your project. If you check the text message consent box on our contact form, we also record the date and time you gave that consent and the exact wording you agreed to. If you go on to schedule work with us, we will also have the address of the property where that work is performed.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to respond to estimate requests, schedule and perform work, send appointment reminders and project updates, answer questions about work in progress, and follow up after a job is complete. We use the consent record described above to show that you agreed to receive text messages from us before we sent any.

SMS/Text Messaging

We send text messages only to people who have opted in. There are two ways to opt in, and neither happens automatically:

• Checking the text message consent box on our contact form. That box ships unchecked and you have to tick it yourself. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase, and you can submit the form, get an estimate, and have work performed without ticking it.
• Signing an estimate or contract that contains a written SMS consent line. That line is presented separately from the rest of the agreement and is not required in order to accept the estimate.

The messages we send are appointment confirmations, quote follow-up, project updates, and a request for a Google review after your work is complete. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties for marketing purposes.

Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. The limited circumstances in which we share anything are these:

• Service providers. We use scheduling, messaging, and customer communication software to run the business, and those providers process your information on our behalf. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with them for marketing purposes.
• Subcontractors. Where a job requires a trade we do not perform in house, we share the contact and project details that person needs to do the work. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with them for marketing purposes.
• Legal requirements. We may disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties for marketing purposes.

Cookies and Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors find and use the site. These tools set cookies that measure traffic in aggregate, such as which pages are viewed and which sources visitors arrive from. We do not use them to identify you personally. Your browser can block or delete these cookies, and the site works normally if you do.

Your Choices

You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from us, or by contacting us by phone or email. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by contacting us. You may also contact us to ask what information we hold about you, or to have it updated or deleted. Opting out of text messages does not affect an estimate you have requested or work we have agreed to perform.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
